The Rhineland Bastards invade once more….Dan Stack is back and Brent is returning from his exile in San Francisco to join Jason, Tom, Jim, and Nick to perform at this year’s Artec Fest. Accompanied by the visuals of video virtuoso, Mason Dixon – the Bastards will spin their trademark web of sight and sound on Monday, October 29th.

Artec 2007 “Art, Music and Short Film Festival”
October 26th – October 29th, 2007
I am pleased to announce Artec 2007 at Peter Jones Gallery in Chicago. The four-day festival will be held on Friday, October 26 through Monday, October 29. (see attached schedule for times)
Artec 2007 will feature works by artists Steve Walters (Screwball Press), Tokyo Alice (Japan), Harry Sudman (Chicago), Andrea Jablonski (Chicago), and many others artist and filmmakers. Artec 2007 will also be showcasing music DJs and bands such as; Detachment Kit (Brooklyn), Jeff Parker (Tortoise/Isotope), Birthday Suits (Minneapolis), Rabid Rabit (Chicago), Comorevi-ButtEr fLy (Japan/Chicago), The Peelers (Chicago), Brasswork Agency (Los Angeles), Rhineland Bastards (Chicago), and many more. Artec Festival is a bi-annual event that focuses on bringing exposure to independent artists and filmmakers. Artec was formed by artist/filmmaker Myke Adams in the fall of 2004 so that artists, bands and filmmakers have an alternative platform to showcase their works. For the past three years, this Multi-Arts festival has acquired fame among local and international artists by highlighting their talents without compromising their creativity. In 2007, Artec teams up with Beiteverso Productions Inc. to support the growing audience and projects of Artec 2007.
